Latest ASP.NET Framework

Custom Error Pages

All websites will experience errors at some point and most web servers will generate default pages to present to visitors when these occur and this may not portray a very professional image to your website's visitors. By creating custom error pages for your website you can provide your visitors with information on what may have gone wrong and offer them a solution. All errors have a code assigned to them, for example an error will occur when a user tries to access a page that doesn't exist and the code for this error is 404.

Dedicated IP Addresses

A dedicated IP address is a necessity where dedicated SSL certificates are being used as otherwise the certificate won't function properly. The Plesk logo appears in the banner that is present at the top of every page that forms the control panel. You can upload your business's logo to replace this so that when your web hosting clients access their web hosting accounts, they see your logo rather than the Plesk logo.

Mailboxes with POP3, IMAP and SMTP Access

Any mailboxes created under one of our reseller web hosting accounts will have full access using the POP3 and IMAP protocols so that mail can be retrieved from the server using a desktop or mobile email client; SMTP functionality is also offered so that emails can also be sent from these applications using the address in question.

Webmail

If you don't use a desktop email client then your email inboxes can also be accessed through the webmail portal that is supplied by the Plesk control panel.

Spam Filtering

Full spam filtering is applied to all incoming emails so that the only emails to reach your inbox are the ones that you want to read and not messages that have the potential to contain viruses or are of a nature that you don't particularly wish to see.

Private Name Servers

Private name servers can be configured on your Windows reseller hosting account so that when you provide your hosting clients with the details necessary to use their domain name with the hosting service that they have purchased from you, it won't be revealed to them that you use Host.co.in as your reseller partner. Configuring these can assist you in providing your clients with a more professional and integrated service and help with building trust.

Subdomains

Subdomains can be used to create separate sections for your website so that popular content is more accessible. If we take 'yourdomain.com' as an example, a subdomain of this would be 'sub.yourdomain.com'; as a subdomain can be anything you wish it to be, you could create a separate site for your support department (i.e. support.yourdomain.com) and billing department (billing.yourdomain.com). Instead of having to visit your main website to click through to the relevant sections, a visitor will only have to enter the subdomain into their web browser to reach the intended location of your website.

Site Preview

Domain Aliases

Even though you won't be able to host individual websites under these addresses when they are hosted as an alias, it is a good way to make use of multiple domains without getting closer to the domain name limit on the shared hosting account.

Virtual Host Templates

Similarly to the way that you create web hosting plans for your web hosting client accounts to follow, your customers can use Virtual Host Templates if they would like the domains that they have assigned to their web hosting account to follow the same pattern in terms of the resources and features available. You can also create dummy folder and file structures that will automatically form the web space of domains when they are created with a Virtual Host Template.

Personal Information & Change Password

You should change your control panel password on a regular basis so that in the event that there is a password leak or your Plesk hosting account does become compromised, you can steam any damage relatively easily. We also recommend that you keep your personal information up-to-date in the control panel so that the control panel can automatically email you regarding your reseller account or client accounts.

Permissions

You and your web hosting clients will be able to manage the permissions related to your website's file and folder structure through the Plesk control panel. Quite often you will find that many scripts and web applications require specific permissions to be set on certain files and folders so that they are able to function properly. An example of where this may be necessary is when a script is being used to upload files to a certain directory under your website.

Microsoft Access

Unlike MSSQL Server and MySQL Server, Microsoft Access has been designed for smaller implementations, as it is a desktop database platform that isn't designed for high-usage environments or scalability. Microsoft Access is only available with our Windows hosting plans and is recommended for solutions where access to the web application is going to be 'closed' so that high loads on the database are rare.
