It is an open source tool written in PHP intended to handle the administration of MySQL over the World Wide Web. PhpMyAdmin is a web based database administration tool specifically made for managing MySQL databases. Once you click on the phpMyAdmin link within your control panel interface,PhpMyAdmin will automatically load in a new window. It involves numerous features like Web interface , Administering multiple servers, MySQL database management, Creating PDF graphics of the database layout, Import data from CSV and SQL, Searching globally in a database or a subset of it, Active query monitor (Processes). It can perform various tasks such as modifying, deleting databases,executing SQL statements; or managing users and permissions etc.
