How to Fix the “The Login is Invalid” Error in WHM

Sometimes, when you try to log into a cPanel account using WHM’s “List Accounts” feature, you might see this error message:

WHM list accounts
WHM suspended accounts

“The login is invalid.”

Cpanel login invalid

This error often happens because of issues with your browser’s cache. Here are a few steps you can take to fix it:

Try using a different browser or open a “private/incognito” window to see if the error persists. If it doesn’t, you can try clearing the cache in the browser where you encountered the problem.

When you visit a website, your browser stores certain data like images so that it doesn’t have to download them again each time you visit. However, there are times when you need to clear this stored data to see recent changes to the website, like DNS updates or modifications to images or text.

Here’s how you can clear the cache in Google Chrome:

Open Chrome and go to the top left corner of the browser window. Click on the three dots, then select “Settings.”

Scroll down the page to the bottom and find “Clear browsing data” under the “Privacy and security” section.

Click on this option, and you’ll see two tabs: “Basic” and “Advanced.” Choose the items you want to clear (like browsing history, cookies, and cached images and files), then click the “Clear data” button.

By following these steps to clear your browser’s cache, you should be able to log into cPanel from WHM without seeing the “The login is invalid” error message.
