Registration process of a .DE domain name?

.DE => Country-code top-level domain designated for Germany

.DE is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for the Federal Republic of Germany. DENIC (the Network Information Centre responsible for .de domains) does not require specific second-level domains, as it is the case with the .uk domain. Dot DE is currently the second most popular ccTLD in terms of number of registrations, after .cn, and is third after .com and .cn among all TLDs. Dot DE registrations may be directly ordered from DENIC but it is faster and cheaper to do so via a DENIC member (registrar).

Information required for .DE domain name registration.

1.) Administrative domain contact must have a German address.
The admin contact you have specified does not have a German address. Denic, the .de registry, requires that all .DE domains have a German address for the administrative contact. Please specify one during the configuration stage of your new registration.

2.) Invalid Nameservers

The .de domains have different regulations regarding nameservers.
You can use Denic’s ‘Zone Check’ tool to see if the dns you’d like to use will be accepted for updates, or registration.

A minimum of 2 DNS is required, and both cannot be located in the same class C IP address.

Example, if you want to use your own DNS, you must enter two nameservers where the IPs are not located in the same class C. Otherwise, the.de registry will not allow it.

dns1.example.com              96.123.64.40
dns2.example.com              96.123.64.45

The 96.123.64.xxx is the same class C
