You can use a third-party SSL certificate on Webuzo, either by installing it or by uploading it directly to your hosting.
Please Note: Before you generate or upload the SSL Certificate, make sure you have a Private Key prepared for the domain.
Here’s how to create an SSL Certificate:
- Sign in to your Webuzo user account.
- Navigate to the SSL section and select Certificates.
You’ll see two sections in the Certificate panel: Generate a Certificate and Upload a New Certificate.
- In the Upload a New Certificate section, paste or enter the certificate details into the “Paste your Certificate here” field, then click Upload.
Webuzo will then upload the SSL certificate details directly to your hosting. Alternatively, if you have a .crt file saved on your local device, you can upload it in that format.
Here’s how to upload a .crt file:
Click the Choose File button located under “Choose the .crt file.”
This will allow you to select the .crt file from your device. Once selected, click Upload.
