When a certain domain name is not renewed before the expiration date, the Renewal Grace Period begins to apply. All these domain names would then be placed on an ad-supported temporary parking page, which would serve as a reminder that the domain name has now expired. Any website and emails that are connected to the domain name would stop functioning.
If the grace period expires and you still want to keep the domain, roughly a $75 reinstatement cost will apply. Any websites or email services connected to the domain will stop functioning during this time because the domain will not be reachable.
