What is a Node?
A node can be a computer or some other device, such as a printer. Every node has a unique network address, sometimes called a Data Link Control (DLC) address or Media Access Control (MAC) address.
What is Server?
Computers and devices that allocate resources for a network are called Servers. Servers are categorized on the basis of the resources they provide on the network. Some of the servers are Audio/Video Servers, Chat Servers, IRC Servers, Mail Servers & etc.
Computers on a network are sometimes called Nodes.
